Jointless Hull Large Scale Additive Manufacturing

A US Army Initiative to additively manufacture seamless ground vehicle hulls, the Jointless Hull project is a multi-contractor project involving the world's largest metal 3D printer. AFSD, as a robust solid-state additive manufacturing process, is the process the Army plans to use, but further research is needed to optimize the print parameters.
