Energetic Materials
Dr. Trevor Fleck and his graduate students are working on the additive manufacturing of energetic materials, primarily focusing on pyrotechnics and propellants. The work seeks to identify key process-structure-property-performance (PSPP) relationships for functional AM. In this scope, work seeks to develop the capability to produce geometrically complex, multifunctional structures, whose performance can be tuned during the additive manufacturing process. Tehcnologies of interest primarily include material extrusion additive manufacturing with a focus on fused filament fabrication.
