Jackson Fries
I am a first-year master's student in Mechanical Engineering. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University in 2026. My current research focuses on the prospects of various methods of recycling titanium alloy swarf through the compaction - additive friction stir deposition (AFSD) - heat treatment process. Outside of my work, I am a tuba player in the Baylor University Symphonic Band, I enjoy writing and musical composition, and building things.
