Trevor Hickok

Trevor Hickok is a PhD student studying the interlayer region formed during Additive Friction Stir Deposition (AFSD). Using his practical skills as a machinist and experimentalist in conjunction with Baylor's state-of-the-art Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic (SPH) simulation framework, he aims to reveal the physical mechanisms behind the formation, evolution, and influence of the interlayer region in the AFSD process. Outside of work, Trevor is a busy musician, historical reenactor, gardener, church camp leader, cook, and workshop tinkerer.
